Wollongong Wind Repairs specialises in the repair of woodwind instruments (especially flutes and clarinets), but we also do some basic brass repair. Each instrument is individually inspected and assessed (free service) and a quote is prepared. Upon acceptance of the quote, the work will commence. You are only charged for the work that needs to be done. Instruments needing more or less work will therefore be quoted accordingly. No repair will be started until you have accepted the formal quote.
Payment is due before or at the time when you pick up your instrument (exceptions can be made for schools and educational institutions). You can pay by cash, PayPal, Credit Card (through PayPal), cheque or money order.
Emergency repairs: an emergency service is available for that once-in-a-while "quick fix" when for instance a spring pops out or you accidentally bend a key. Contact us immediately and we will give you a quote just for the small repair needed. If you accept, we will fit you in within 24 hours, including on weekends and public holidays. Please note that a surcharge may apply.
Pickup & delivery service: Wollongong Wind Repairs offers a pickup and delivery service. Simply have your instrument ready, and it will be picked up from your home or business address. A surcharge may apply depending on where you live and how many instruments need to be transported. This service is particularly useful for schools and institutions who may not have the time to deliver the instruments in person. If you are interested, please indicate this when you request a quote.
