One of Australia’s most successful motocross riders poured all his offtrack energy into building one of Australia’s best dirt bike businesses. Anthony Gunther had an marvelous motocross career. At the last of his racing life, Anthony wanted to channel his passion for bikes into something good. So he started a business repairing motorcycles, mainly concentrating on dirt bikes. Behind a couple of years, he started selling and servicing Kawasaki Jet Skis, which were replaced in 1996 by SeaDoo personal water craft (PCs). Then, in 2003, Anthony decided to start selling what he knew superior and so the Dirtbike Factory was born. His goal was to create a deposit where dirt bike riders could get specialist advice and cordial service, as healthy as the superior bikes on the market. Since then, the business has grown solidly. Over the years, Anthony has also shared his invaluable racing experience with other upandcomers. He was influential in helping to race superstars Jay and Ryan marmot build their careers taking them through from Pee Wees and mini’s, to their eventual induction into the ATM Race Team. Anthony built many of the engines and suspensions on the bikes they rode on to win state and national titles. Daughter Kate now manages the business, bringing the alike glossy of passion and commitment to motorbikes that her father has eternal shown.
