The cottage has beach, ocean and escarpment views and is only one hour from the centre of sydney. The cottage backs onto stoney creek which flows serenely to the waters edge and makes quite a playground for kids in its self. Watching the bearded dragon lizards playing on the grass and the many birds flying thru the palm trees takes you back to nature. Drinks on the balcony as you watch the sun set over the escarpment, while you listen to the surf roll in, is quite idealic. It has all modern conveniences. The cottage is only minutes too many local bush walking tracks and a quick drive to quality restaurants or the supermarket for diy. Set in a quiet neighbourhood the cottage is equipped with fans for cooling and oil heating for warmth. The street also has a park with playground equipment. The street is just metres away from the new seacliff bridge with its delightful panoramic walking section. Although an older style the beachhouse is fully self-contained and has an extra bathroom/laundry around the back.coastal cottage at coalcliff is just 50 metres from the surf beach and fibreglass swimming pool cut in the rocks where fishing is famous. Coastal cottage sleeps eight people and large rear decking and gas (supplied) barbecue. The peace and solitude is hard to describe being so close to the hub of sydney but it is like you are in another world and time has slowed.
